2. SPC Foundation Updates Dear Fellow Alumni, After months of home learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are happy to welcome all our boys back to the classrooms. Thanks to everyone at St. Paul’s for the efficient execution of a well conceived plan, which gives the College a very smooth resumption. The College has implemented various preventive measures, including disinfection of the entire campus, checking body temperatures of students, staff and visitors upon their entry into the school premises as well as providing Hand Sanitizing Dispensers at the entrance, staircases, lift lobbies and corridors. It is important to ensure that appropriate social distance is maintained among students. For that we are lucky to have completed Phase One of the School Enhancement Project last year. The increase in space in the classroom allows students to maximize their distances from each other. Beside the increase in size of the classrooms, the project also brought new VRV air-conditioning system to the classrooms, boys’ toilets in North Wing and Stewart Building are also upgraded with better ventilation system, lighting, and sanitary facilities. For example, the use of automatic sensing faucets eliminate re-contamination of washed hands as no direct contact is needed. All these contribute to better hygiene and cleanliness to the school campus. We are moving forward to Campaign Two of the School Enhancement Project, which highlights an indoor swimming pool, a new entrance with lobby space to hold various cultural activities, a modern library based on cutting edge concepts etc. Please continue your support to us. Together we can build St. Paul’s into an exciting school to learn and to blossom. For more details and further information, please contact me or my team by 852-25462248 or email to info@spc-foundation.org.hk. With regards, Ian Chan Yau Nam (’67)
