1. Formation of the New Executive Committee - Message from the Chairman

Dear fellow Paulines,

The Executive Committee for the term of 2016-2018 was elected on 19th January 2017 in Wong Ming Him Hall of the College.

It is our honour to serve the alumni community and our alma mater. Thank you for your support and we will continue to make our best effort to engage all alumni in the Association. If you have any enquiry or suggestion, please do not hesitate to contact me at chairman@alumni.org.hk.

2. 2017雞年新春親子樂活動

The Deputy Membership Development Director, Philip Yeung (1986), would like to invite you to the following events:

1/ 年初四-1月31日(星期二)
港島東 - 龍脊行山及新春BBQ

11am 筲箕灣港鐵站集合,再轉9號巴士往石澳方向,於土地灣站下車,開始行龍脊

藍鷗士多任食自助BBQ(大人$130; 小朋友$65)


2/ 年初九-2月5日(星期日)


開放時間10am - 4pm

3. Watermelon Cup(青年組)

The competition will be held on 5th February 2017 (Sunday) from 9:30am until all the 13 matches finish.

The participating years are ranging from 1999 to 2016. All alumni are welcome to come back and share the joy.

Date: 5 February 2017 (Sunday)
Venue: SPC Lower Playground
Time: 9:30am onwards

4. SPCAA Macau Catholic Pilgrimage

As you may know, Bishop Stephen Lee Bun-sang (Class of 1973) has been installed as the Bishop of Macau Diocese on 23 January 2016. Hence, a group of SPC Catholic old boys would like to visit him on 12th February 2017 (Sunday). All Catholics or non-Catholics are welcome to join.

Date: 12 February 2017 (Sunday)
Tentative schedule:
07:00 (sharp) Gather at Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal (Shun Tak)
07:30 Ferry to Macau
09:00 Proceed to the Cathedral
09:30 Attend the Holy Mass celebrated by Bishop Lee
11:30 Lunch with Bishop Lee
14:00 Attend a pilgrimage session organized by the Catholic Pilgrimage Service of Macao (TBC)
18:00 Dinner and Free time
21:00 Ferry back to Hong Kong

Participants are welcome join the trip directly at Macau. Please arrive the Cathedral at 9:00 am.

5. St. John's Cathedral Michaelmas Fair Walkathon 2017

The St. Paul’s College Alumni Association and St. Paul’s College are invited by the St. John’s Cathedral to join the 80th Michaelmas Fair Walkathon 2017 on 26th February (Sunday).

The Michaelmas Fair has been a traditional fund raising event in Hong Kong and the proceeds will be used to fund the Cathedral’s various ministries and activities. The Walkathon is the first event to kick off this year-long event.

We are looking for alumni and their families and friends to join as walkers or to make donations. Interested parties please contact Colin Lau (1989) by emailing to colinlau7416@gmail.com or whatsapps @90332950.

Details of the Walkathon 2017 are as follows:

Date: 26 February 2017 (Sunday)
Time: 11am (registration from 10am)
Starting point: St. John’s Cathedral, 4-8 Garden Road, HK
1) The Peak
2) The Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens

Optional Lunch will be provided at the Cathedral from 12:30pm at $50 for adult and $20 for student

6. 2017 Spring Dinner

The 2017 Annual Spring Dinner will be held on 25 February 2017 (Saturday). Details to be confirmed. Please mark your calendar. All alumni are welcome.
