Dear Fellow Alumni,

We would like to let you know the followings:

1. Early Bird Ticketing for 165th Anniversary Celebration Dinner (11 Dec)

We are pleased to inform you that St. Paul・s College is celebrating its 165th Anniversary in 2016-2017, and the highlight of celebration will be the 165th Anniversary Celebration Dinner, to be held on 11th December 2016 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. With support from our Alma Mater, St. Paul・s College Alumni Association will host this grand event.

We are pleased to announce that the dinner ticketing price and arrangements are as follows:

1. Regular Price

The Regular price for a ticket for the Anniversary Celebration Dinner is HKD$1500.

2. Alumni Early Bird Discount

Alumni are eligible to enjoy the discounted price of HKD$1280 under the following conditions:

registering as a group of 12 persons, or multiple of 12

complete registration and payment by 30th September 2016

The above discount can be used along with the Student Discount, provided that the total number of participants is 12 or the multiple of 12. If the number of participants is fewer than 12, all participants of the group are required to pay the regular price, i.e. HKD$1500.

3. Parents (Non-alumni) Early Bird Discount

Non-alumni parents of current students of St Paul・s College can enjoy the discounted price at HKD $1350 on or before 30th September 2016. Parents must register through the School Office and this discount can be used along with the Student Discount. Parents can enjoy the table discount through registering with the Alumni Association.

4. Students Discount

Persons of the following categories are eligible to enjoy the discounted price, HKD$900:

i. All current students (St Paul・s College and St Paul・s College Primary School)
ii. Young alumni (graduating from F6 in 2012 or later)
iii. Family members of alumni or students who are of the age of 12 and under

Registration deadline for Student Discount will be 30th September, 2016.

Please clearly state the number of tickets needed and there shall be no changes allowed after the reservation is made.

2. The Late Mr Thomas Cheung (i庁ど) (Class of 2003)

We are heartbroken to learn that Thomas Cheung, a firefighter and an alumnus from the Class of 2003, has passed away on duty in a fire in Ngau Tau Kok on 21st June. He is survived by his wife and a 4-month old son.

SPCAA hopes to co-ordinate alumni to support Thomas' family in this difficult time. Please make your donation to his family via SPCAA before 9/7/2016 at St. Paul・s College Alumni Association (tO湛儖|P焦|)HSBC 026-108142-001, and send an email with your pay in slip to priscilla.fan@alumni.org.hk. In addition to the conventional method of bank remittance, brothers, especially those who are stationed in overseas, may wish to use the following PayPal link for making donations to Thomas Cheung's family.

Please note that there will be an around 4% transaction cost for each transaction but should be generally lower than overseas bank remittance cost.


Please note that all donations via SPCAA to the family of the late Mr Cheung Yiu Sing should be made on or before 9 July (Saturday) 23:59 Hong Kong Time. Arrangements will then be made to pass the donation to the family in one go. SPCAA will keep the alumni community posted.

If members wish to donate to the Cheung's family after the 9 July deadline, please refer to the Fire Services Department website (http://www.hkfsd.gov.hk/) on the channels available.

We are proud to have Thomas, brave and selfless, to be our alumnus. May he rest in peace.
