The First SPC Brass Ensemble was established in 1986. After they left school, they dispersed and settled in various parts of the world to pursue their various careers. Over two decades later, the original members of the group met again in Hong Kong and recruited new members from among more recent alumni to form the SPC Alumni Brass Ensemble with a view to reviving the group. The latest reunion debut performed on 19th July, 2009 in the Sung Eucharist service of St. Johnˇ¦s Cathedral, in which they played ˇ§Airˇ¨ from Water music by Handel, ˇ§Canonˇ¨ by Pachebel & ˇ§Trumpet Voluntaryˇ¨ by Stanley. Also, they played the processional and the recessional hymns. Lot of applauses is received after the service. They are now looking forward to their next performance.
